Paul Bérenger réclame des détails
La PNQ du leader de l’opposition de ce mardi 7 avril, axée sur l’affaire Bramer Bank/BAI, est adressée au ministre des Finances. Paul Bérenger demande au ministre Vishnu Lutchmeenaraidoo :
“Whether, in regard to the revocation by the Bank of Mauritius of the banking licence of the Bramer Bank and the appointment of conservators to take charge of the British American Insurance (Mauritius) Ltd. by the Financial Services Commission, he will – (a) for the benefit of the House, obtain information as to – (i) the number of employees, depositors, insurance policy holders and shareholders concerned therewith; and (ii) why receivers were appointed regarding the Bramer Bank and conservators were appointed regarding the British American Insurance (Mauritius) Ltd., and (b) state the measures being taken to protect (i) the employees, the depositors and the pension policy holders concerned therewith; and (ii) the image of Mauritius as an international financial hub? “
