Amateurism at the National Assembly

Madam the Speaker, please learn your standing orders as you are dishonouring the National Assembly.

When Hon. Rajesh Bhagwan mentioned the word “manipulated” which you claim to be unparliamentary, you ordered him to remove the said word. But when the Leader of the opposition mentioned the word “manipulated” twice and he requested you to give him the same sanction, why you asked him to come with a motion in the house. As a layman, I am not going to do you a lesson. But the basic rule of law requires that two persons doing the same wrongdoing, gets the same sanction. Why one sanction for Hon. Rakesh Bhagwan and no sanction for the Hon. Leader of the Opposition? This is the point of order raised by the Hon. Leader of the Opposition. But unfortunately as most of the members of the Government, you, too are too intelligent to understand the standing orders. Yes, madam, shame on you as you have disgraced our national assembly. Past speakers of the legislative assembly like Sir. Harilal Vaghjee should be crying in their graves. Shame on you, Madam Speaker! Cry my beloved Country!
