Your Excellency,
It is with a deep sense of loss that I have learnt of the sudden demise of H.E. President Abdul Kalam while doing what he loved to do best-imparting knowledge and sharing his life experience with the youth. President Kalam, with whom I had the privilege to interact during his visit to Mauritius a few years ago, was a beacon of inspiration to millions across India and the world. His tenure as President of the Republic of India brought in a new dimension and perspective on leadership at that level. There is no doubt that he will continue to inspire many a generation to come with the enlightened vision that he had of the world.
On behalf of the MMM and in my own name, I wish to convey to Your Excellency, the Government of India, the family of late President Kalam and all those afflicted by this great loss, our heartfelt condolences.
