The Mouvement Militant Mauricien (MMM) is pleased and honoured to associate itself with the warm welcome extended to Shri Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of the Republic of India and his delegation by the people of Mauritius.
In accepting to be the Chief Guest on the occasion of the 47th anniversary of our independence and the 23rd year of our republican status, Shri Modi demonstrates yet again that the bonds of friendship that unite our two countries are as strong as ever and indeed are bound to be further consolidated.
Shri Modi’s distinguished presence in our midst at this momentous time is representative of the high esteem, love and friendship that the Republic of India and its brotherly people have for Mauritius and its citizens.
The MMM has always maintained very close relations with the people of India through its various governments and looks forward to strengthening these relations further at government, party and on personal levels.
The MMM wishes Shri Narendra Modi and his delegation a very fruitful stay in our midst and is confident that the relations that bind our two peoples and countries will develop further in an atmosphere that has always underpinned the exchanges between our two nations.
